Joseph Cipriano, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Joseph Cipriano is a 25 year resident of
Monmouth County. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Freehold, NJ. Dr. Cipriano
attended high school at St. John Vianney in Holmdel, then went to
Rutgers University. He received his Medical Degree at UMDNJ - New
Jersey Medical School. Dr. Cipriano completed residency training in
Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. Dr. Cipriano was in private practice for six years
in New York prior to returning to Monmouth County to start Colts Neck OB/GYN, which is now Healthy Woman, with his wife Dr. Rebecca Cipriano. He is Board
Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has almost 15 years
experience in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Gynecologic
Surgery.
Rebecca Cipriano, M.D., FACOG
Board Certified, OB/GYN
Dr. Rebecca Cipriano grew up in Wyckoff, New
Jersey. She attended Ramapo High School, then went to Colby College
in Maine, and graduated cum laude with distinction in Biology. She
then attended Chicago Medical School where she received her Medical
Degree and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition. Dr. Cipriano
completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New
York Medical College. Dr. Cipriano was in private practice for three years in
Shrewsbury before joining her husband, Dr. Joseph Cipriano, to start Colts Neck OB/GYN, which is now Healthy Woman. Dr. Cipriano is Board Certified in Obstetrics and
Gynecology. Drs. Rebecca and Joe Cipriano live in Colts Neck with their daughter,
Colette.
Susan Pacana, M.D., FACOG
Board Certified, OB/GYN
Dr. Susan Pacana grew up in Chester County,
Pennsylvania and attended Villa Maria Academy. She graduated from
Franklin and Marshall College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
She earned her Medical Degree at Hahnemann University School of
Medicine. Dr. Pacana was elected to the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha in her third year. She completed her
residency training at The New York Hospital - Cornell University
Medical Center. Dr. Pacana is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pacana practiced in Rockland County, New York
for four years, prior to joining Colts Neck OB/GYN, which is now Healthy Woman, in 2003. She
lives in Freehold with her husband, Doug Darman and their daughters,
Claire and Isabelle.
Sanjay Ramchandani, M.D.
Board Certified, OB/GYN
We are pleased to announce Dr. Ramchandani will be joining Healthy Woman in Sept. 2010! Dr. Sanjay Ramchandani graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Dr. Ramchandani received his Medical Degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School and he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where he received several awards for excellence in teaching and research. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Amy Zehnder, M.D.
Dr. Amy Zehnder grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She received her Medical Degree
from the American University of the Carribean in 2005. She then completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke's
Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, and moved to Freehold in July 2009 with her husband Chris and
son Zachary.
Jami Avellini, M.D.
Dr. Jami Avellini grew up in Staten Island, NY and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Business Administration from George Washington University, Washington DC. After completing her Medical degree, Dr. Avellini underwent four years of training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We are pleased that she joined Healthy Woman OB/GYN in July of 2010.
